- Guest Access & Passes: Temporary Resident IDs are available for 2 renters per household at a charge of $50 each. Renters pay this to The Villages ID office. The Resident ID allows for the use and enjoyment of the amenities at The Villages, including executive golf courses, reduced fee at championship golf courses, swimming recreation centers and more.

Payment Schedule:
January thru April is rented monthly, all other months rentals available weekly.
Down payment deposit ($1,500) due within 7 days of signed contract, Non refundable. Final payment and Security deposit of $1,500 due within 60 days prior to occupancy. Security deposit will be refundable within 30 days of departure upon a satisfactory inspection of the home and golf cart for any damages, and verification that all gate cards, garage door openers, and keys are accounted for minus a $250 Cleaning Fee and sales/bed tax of 6% FL and 1% Sumter County tax.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event of cancellation, the security deposit will NOT be refunded. Rent paid will be refunded (less a $300 cancellation fee) ONLY if the house can be re-rented at the same rate (or higher) for the exact same dates (or longer). If cancellation occurs within 45 days of scheduled arrival date, NO refund will be issued. We recommend that tenants opt for renters insurance or trip cancellation insurance.


The Villages is an active Senior Community for residents 55yrs+.
Young visitors are allowed for limited time periods.
